Utsah Group is an offshoot of C.D. Engineering Company, which has a legacy of 55 years since 1969. C.D. Engineering made its name in forging industry in early 1970 and continues its leadership in the segment of standard and special purpose forgings.
Mr. Deepak Gupta, who was then working in India’s leading engineering projects company, Engineers India Limited (EIL) saw both potential and opportunity in the business and took over the company for its next level growth and success.
He immediately started manufacturing special purpose flanges, customized forgings and fittings for oil & gas industry, which became the foundation of a new avatar of C.D. Engineering Company in early 1990 and the journey of extraordinary success began under his leadership.
While leading a team of dedicated engineers and managers, he hired industry and management experts to develop world-class management systems with a humble beginning in 2002 and the company achieved international certifications in line with international standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 from TUV NORD Germany first time in its history that too in a span of two years of rigorous preparation and team work in 2005 and there was a rush for new orders from India’s large oil & gas public sector giants. To meet the international market requirements and meet product-specific needs, the company established best practices to deal with the Pressure Equipment Directive (97/23/EC) from Lloyds Register in 2006 and started manufacturing products complying with the European standards.
C.D. Engineering became the first few companies in its category in India as a qualified supplier to large public sector giants in the country. It was rare those days that any supplier of the size of C.D. Engineering Company could dare to qualify such tough quality standards and it was possible under the leadership of Mr. Deepak Gupta.
The company realized the market need and decided to upscale the production capacity to the next level and Utsah Engineering Pvt. Ltd. was set up in 2006 to cater the most compelling demands of customers in oil & gas, chemical, fertilizer, EPC, process industries in India.
Subsequently the customer base and business operations grew and Mr. Deepak Gupta envisioned second manufacturing facility and Utsah Engineering Pvt. Ltd. was born in 2006 with a sprawling manufacturing facility of 20,000 Square Meters.
Utsah Engineering Pvt. Ltd. was enlisted by large public sector and private companies in a short span of two years from its inception and established itself as a leading supplier of flanges and fittings to Oil & Gas and EPC companies in India and overseas.
Today, Utsah Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is the most preferred supplier to many customers for its commitment to quality, on-time deliveries and zero complaint supplies.
